(1) If someone commits any kind of sexual abuse to an employee or customer at the workplace, the victimized employee, customer or anyone on his behalf may make a written or oral complaint against such person to the manager within fifteen days.
(2) If any complaint is made according to sub-section (1), the manager shall immediately investigate the matter.
(3) During the investigation according to sub-section (2), if the accused person is found to have sexually harassed the complaining employee or customer, the manager may order any or all of the following actions:-
(a) Reconciliation between the victim and the accused person if both parties agree,
(b) to apologize to the accused person to the victim,
(c) to warn the accused person not to repeat such act,
(d) to pay reasonable compensation to the victim from the accused person,
(e) To take departmental action against the accused person in accordance with the law related to service conditions.
(4) The manager shall settle the complaint made under sub-section (1) within fifteen days from the date of complaint.
